In 2012, the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs put out a request for advice on the implementation of the Guiding Principles. The study includes a review of the expectations of German business and civil society stakeholders regarding government assistance and guidance in the implementation of the Guiding Principles; an evaluation of best practice examples from other relevant states; and concrete recommendations for action.
